Information retrieval and interactive retrieval-system design; user-modeling and adaptive Web-search system design and analysis; computational-linguistics and natural-language processing.


Daqing He is an Associate Professor at the iSchool at University of Pittsburgh. Prior to coming to the University of Pittsburgh, he worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Maryland. His BS and MS are in Computer Science and Engineering from the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and his PhD is in Informatics from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom.
