    Involved in the medical field for over 30 years, Daria Dahle Jones presently serves as a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) at Gallup Indian Medical Center. At the Gallup, New Mexico, facility, Jones distributes anesthesia in emergency, trauma, and obstetrics cases. She also handles intubations and line placements in the intensive care unit, in addition to raising money to acquire new equipment for the obstetric operating room. Daria Dahle Jones also trains new CRNAs and revises hospital policies to enhance the efficiency of operations. Early in her career, Jones enlisted in the United States Army and served as a pediatric staff nurse at Ireland Army Community Hospital. Following periods in pediatric care at Eisenhower Army Medical Center and at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center, she became chief nurse anesthetist at William Beaumont Army Medical, a Level I Trauma Center. After completing a nursing anesthesia fellowship in army trauma anesthesia, Daria Dahle Jones served in Iraq during the War on Terror. Her achievements as chief nurse anesthetist with the 250th Forward Surgical Team, the 28th Combat Support Hospital, and the 67th Combat Support Hospital earned her the Skikorsky Combat Flight Award and a Meritorious Service Medal. She retired from the military as a lieutenant colonel.
