Dario Debowicz is a Research Associate at the Brooks World Poverty Institute (University of Manchester). He submitted his PhD Thesis in Economics to the University of Sussex (UK) in the beginning of July (2010), and holds a BA in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina) and a MA in Development Economics from the University of Sussex. He has worked in real and real-financial CGE and DSGE modelling, as well as on household microsimulation modelling. He has worked on Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Ethiopia, Andhra Pradesh (India), Pakistan and Iraq. He lectured macroeconomics at various universities in Buenos Aires and development economic topics at MA level at the Institute of Development Studies (UK), and has provided training for IFPRI in several locations, including the Universities of Ghana and Cape Coast (Ghana).
