I currently work at the Nanostructures group at Leibniz Universität, Hannover as a Post Doctoral Researcher. Having collaborated with the group during my Ph.D I was offered a position with them afterwards to continue with my research on the effects of symmetry breaking operation on spin dynamics in quantum wells.
I completed my Ph.D at the University of Southampton under the guidance of Prof. Richard Harley where I investigated "Spin Dynamics in Semiconductor Structures".
I was awarded a first class MPhys in Physics by the University of Southampton in 2007. During my undergraduate studies I was awarded a summer research scholarship and was accepted on an exchange program working on a research project at Harvard University for the final year of my MPhys degree.
