    With nearly three decades of experience in the business sector, David Dewar works and resides in Paradise Valley, Arizona, near Phoenix. He is currently a Managing Partner of Blue Pear. A venture capital firm, Blue Pear sources and provides capital to start-ups in the technology sector. David Dewar has worked with Blue Pear since 2011. Before working in venture capital, Mr. Dewar was Principal of Trillium Residential of Phoenix for seven years. After founding Trillium Residential, he led the company to achieve status as a premier management and residential planning organization. His responsibilities included securing business partners, expanding the business, and directing employees. Under his leadership, Trillium Residential and its financial partners built $500 million worth of communities and multifamily housing complexes. Prior to establishing Trillium Residential and Blue Pear, Mr. Dewar amassed experience in investments, project management, and real estate. From 1997 to 2005, he served as Director of the Investment Audit Committee of Capital Title Agency, based in Phoenix, Arizona. At the start of his business career, he founded David C. Dewar Consulting Ltd., in 1985, providing project management services to commercial retail entities. David Dewar earned a Bachelor’s degree in Technology with a major in Project Management and a minor in Economics from Ryerson Polytechnic Institute in Toronto, Canada. He currently holds membership with the Arizona Chapter of the Young President’s Association. Mr. Dewar enjoys spending his leisure time outdoors, and is an avid skier, hiker, and fisherman.
