David Giunta currently serves as the chief executive officer and managing member of real estate investments at BlackPlum, LLC, in Newport Beach, California. The investments he manages with BlackPlum range from fully entitled home developments to fully operational apartment communities. Prior to founding the company, David Giunta spent nearly 20 years working in various capacities in the investment advisory, securities and real estate industries. Mr. Giunta began his career as an auditor and certified public accountant (CPA) with Arthur Andersen in Irvine, California. In that position, he specialized in providing auditing services for Fortune 500 companies.
During his time at Ohio University, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree, David Giunta majored in business administration and also took courses in accounting and pre-law. Outside of his work with BlackPlum, he maintains membership with the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He also serves on the board of directors of the Down Syndrome Foundation of Orange County and as chairman of the capital committee at Watermark Church.
