About

I joined the Mathematical Oncology Division in March 2017. I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Physics and a Master Degree in Theoretical Physics in 2011 at Universita` degli Studi di Torino (Italy). After winning a scholarship, I earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in 2016 at the University of East Anglia (UK) focusing on the study of the dynamics of quantized vortices in Bose-Einstein condensate in confined geometries by using a statistical mechanical approach. My research covers non-linear physics, statistical mechanics and mathematical modeling of cancer dynamics. In particular, I am currently working on the developing a two dimensional mathematical model of Acute Myeloid Leukemia, developing a model on signals interactions in the immune system, and a mathematical model of aging in cancer.
