Deborah is a new media curator focusing on Design and Technology. Her main curatorial inspiration for this focuses on the audience's authentic experience of interactive art, which fuels her interest in how technology can augment traditional art practice. She has also been part of the Science, Technology and Industry Curatorial team at the Powerhouse Museum, curating exhibitions such as ISEA2013, designTECH, Good Design and Game Masters. Deborah is now a PhD Student at the Creative Robotics Lab at COFA-UNSW where she investigates the authentic experience of interactive art regarding the curatorship of it. She also directs a consultancy that specializes in new media and interactive art exhibitions called New Media Curation.
