Dennis Palmeri

After graduating in 1994 from the University of Delaware with a BA in Economics, Dennis Palmeri began his career in securities lending. He joined the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) World Markets, where, as managing director, he increased the company’s cash position and grew the matched book business to $2 billion. As a Director at CIBC, Dennis Palmeri managed operations and handled all aspects of complex sales. In 2001, Ramius Securities hired Dennis Palmeri Jr. as a managing director, a position in which he initiated a multi-prime brokerage model that reduced funding costs, expanded the supply of borrowable securities, and permitted access on a daily basis to a wider scope of market rates. In 2009, he became managing director at BTIG, and more recently, he assumed the position of CEO at Keppie Holdings, LLC. A supporter of numerous charitable causes, Dennis Palmeri has donated to K. Hovnanian Children's Hospital, which operates a comprehensive pediatric care program. He also supports the work of Turning Lives Around, a nonprofit agency that helps adults and children cope with domestic abuse and violence. Through the Betty’s Gift fundraiser, Mr. Palmeri has helped raise funds for the tuition assistance program at Holy Cross School.
