Dr. Brian Toelle is a Visiting Professor of Petroleum Engineering in the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. This appointment is for the 2015 - 2016 academic year during which Brian will be teaching various courses including his "Shale Reservoir Development" class as well as continuing his research into characterizing porosity systems using azimuthal surface seismic. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Married, with two sons, both graduates of Penn State. I enjoy living in the Rockies, camping, fossil hunting and science fiction. Personal website:
