    A highly experienced educational administrator, Dr. Darian C. Jones has an extensive background of academic training in his field. He began preparing for his career as a student at Tulane University, where he received dual undergraduate degrees in philosophy and psychology. Following this, he relocated to North Carolina to earn a master of school administration at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Dr. Darian Jones remained in Greensboro to complete a PhD in curriculum and teaching before attending the University of South Carolina, where he expects to graduate in 2015 with a master of business administration with focuses on human capital management and strategic planning. During and after his academic career, Darian C. Jones gained experience working variously as a high school teacher, assistant principal, director of minority student achievement and principal. Currently, Darian Jones has undertaken intensive professional development as a fellow of the Tennessee Charter School Incubator, an organization devoted to better meeting the needs of public school students in Memphis, Tennessee.
