Atmospheric Measurement Fast-response sensors Air Quality Ozone Mercury speciation

About

I've recently completed my PhD at the University of Leeds, School of Earth and Environment, where I developed a fast-response ozone sensor based on chemiluminescent reactions, supervised by Dr Jim McQuaid. I've now started a post-doc here at ERI in Cork, with Dr Dean Venables group, where we aim to develop a fast-response, highly sensitive gaseous elemental mercury sensor - utilizing recent developments in diode laser technology and optical cavities. I'm interested in atmospheric measurement techniques for detecting ozone, and other gases, and trends in air quality both regionally, and globally.
