About

Dr. Saurav K. Guin at Fuel Chemistry Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre has been working on designing novel electrochemical strategies for the synthesis of metal nanoparticles without compromising with the control over size as well size distribution of the nanoparticles in the absence of any template or surface directing agent. A couple of novel strategies such as Potentiostatic Triple Pulse Strategy, Multiple Potentiostatic Pulse Strategy, and Multiple Galvanostatic Pulse Strategy etc. were developed to control the early stage of nucleation and growth of the metal nanoparticles. These nanoparticles are being used to enhance the sensitivity and selectivity of the electroanalytical measurements. He is expert in preparing modified electrodes with conducting polymers, graphenes, graphene oxides, carbon quantum dots and metal nanoparticles. He is working on the solar cells also. He is a regular reviewer of many reputed internationally reputed peer-reviewed journals.
