I received the BSc (Hons) Degree in Computer Science in 2006, the MSc Degree in Computer Science in 2008, and the PhD in Computer Science in 2014, all of them from the Universidad de La Laguna, Spain. Since December 2015, I have been a Senior Research Fellow at the School of Computing of the Edinburgh Napier University, UK. In addition, since September 2016, I have been a part-time lecturer at the University of La Laguna. My main research lines are related to evolutionary computation, meta-heuristics, hyper-heuristics, and single/multi/many-objective optimisation.
