Evidence Based Practice

I am a health sciences informationist at University of Michigan's Taubman Health Sciences Library. As part of the Academic and Clinical Engagement team, I primarily work with the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and four clinical areas: the Department of Urology, the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Division of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and the Division of Nephrology. I am developing expertise in evidence-based practice, particularly in providing formal and informal instruction about framing clinical questions and finding evidence. My other professional interests include expert literature searching and instruction. I am a member of the Medical Library Association (MLA), the Midwest Chapter of MLA, the Nursing and Allied Health Resources Section (NAHRS) of MLA, the Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Association, and the Metropolitan Detroit Medical Library Group.
