Currently employed as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist on the CARIBIC project ( my work focuses on (halogenated) trace gases in the Upper Troposphere/Lower Stratosphere (UTLS). I completed a NERC funded PhD in 2013. My PhD investigated the sources, distribution and sinks of biogenic halocarbons in the coastal zone. My main research interests are the atmospheric and marine components of biogeochemical cycles. I have a wealth of experience with GCMS and analytical chemical techniques, including extensive field and laboratory experience. I am passionate about communicating science to the wider community and creating an inclusive scientific community. As a STEM ambassador I've blogged, run museum workshops and organised seminar series.
