Research interests

Soil carbon sequestration in forestry.

About

My main interest is the environment, from every perspective. After seeking to understand it from a political point of view, I opted for economics, my current field of research. Among the many topics within the environment, it is forestry that has captivated most of my attention, it being a critical issue of today's world. I am currently working on my Masters' thesis which deals with the value of carbon sequestered in soil in a forest management decision. I wish to find ways to promote proper use of soil, through economically viable incentives such as carbon payments.
