Possui graduação em Geografia pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (2006) e mestrado em Sensoriamento Remoto pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (2008). Atualmente é bolsista capes (doutorado) do Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais. Tem experiência na área de Geociências, com ênfase em Sensoriamento Remoto, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Sensoriamento Remeto Agrícola, Sensoriamento Remoto Termal, Geografia Física.
