Dr. Francis Dalisay conducts research on communication-related antecedents and outcomes of stereotypes, attitudes, values, public opinion, opinion expression, and indicators of social capital. His research emphasizes the influence of context (culture, community structure), and he has studied mass and interpersonal communication phenomena occurring in the United States, Asia, and the Pacific Islands. Dr. Dalisay's research has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, the International Journal of Public Opinion Research, and the Journal of Broadcasting and Electronic Media. Dr. Dalisay has presented several research manuscripts in conferences of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, the International Communication Association, and the National Communication Association.
