    Research activities Research activities are focused on high temperature fuel cells both molten carbonate and solid oxide types. The FCLAB has developed and used test benches for single cell testing and small (1kW and 2.5kWe) fuel cell stacks. The group is active in studying the applications of small and micro CHP systems. Performance analysis, durability tests, fuel flexibility, procedure harmonization and standardization. We perform tests for performance evaluation, alternative gas evaluation, pollutants effects assessment and durability analysis. Research on Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB) is a new field of interest of FCLAb. Numerical simulations Numerical codes development. System models, simulation (cells, cogenerative and hybrid stationary systems analysis and optimization) at regimen and partial loads, exergetic analysis, cost, environmental and reliability analyses (ex.
