About

Si Fuzhen was born in Jiaochen Shanxi, China in 1966. She was the first daughter of Mr. Si Yuanan. She attended a teacher's school after middle school and worked for a high shool as a Chinese teacher for 12 years during which she also taught various classes including Music and Mathematics. In 1996, She was accepted as a postgraduate student in Shanxi University. And in 1999, she enrolled as a phd student in BLCU(Beijing Language and Culture University). After graduation in 2002, she started working for BLCU as a faculty member there, teaching for both undergraduate students and phd students in BLCU. She visited the MIT in 2006 and worked there as a post-doctorial visiting scholar for a year and half under Professor Noam Chomsky. During her stay at MIT, she did an Interview to Professor Chomsky and the interview has been published by a Chinese journal named Yuyanxue Luncong(Linguistic Forus). In 2008, Si was sent by the Organization Department of the Central Committee to Xinjiang Uyghur's Autonomous Region and worked at Yili Normal University as a dean of the department of foreign languages. Now she has returned Beijing and works again for BLCU......
