About

My research is focused on the study of the temperate forests of the Valley of Mexico, understand the factors that determine biodiversity at various spatial scales and generate models and strategies for designing conservation programs in fragmented landscapes. I have also focused on community dynamics, the role of invasive species, ecosystem functioning, landscape ecology, environmental indicators and the assessment of the effects of anthropogenic pressure factors on the state of biodiversity.
