About

I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Australian National University looking into model selection issues in mixed models. Previously I was a research associate at the University of Sydney, researching robust estimation methods, particularly robust estimation of scale with extensions to covariance and autocovariance and precision matrix estimation. I have received a number of citations for my teaching and was awarded the Pitman Prize at the 2012 Australian Statistical Conference for best talk by a young statistician and also the award for the best student presentation at the Australian Young Statisticians Conference 2013.
