Dr Kuehne joined CSIRO in 2009 as a Research Fellow with the Ecosystem Sciences division where he worked on the development of the ADOPT tool (available for download from Before joining CSIRO he carried out post-doctoral research with the University of South Australia managing a research project examining the non-profit decision drivers of irrigation farmers. Until 2000 he owned and operated a dryland mixed-farm at Coonalpyn in South Australia.
