Giuditta Pezzotta is Researcher at CELS (Research Group in Industrial Engineering, Logistics and Service Operations) at the Engineering Department - University of Bergamo (Italy). She received her PhD degree in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy) in 2010. During her PhD studies she was a visiting PhD student at DIAL - Institute for Manufacturing - University of Cambridge in UK. Her PhD was in the Service Engineering and Product-Service System fields. Through her work at CELS, she is involved in several industrial and research projects related to the Product-Service field within the Automotive section of the ASAP Service Management Forum. She was also involved in the European Project LOG4SMEs - Improving logistics performance of SMEs in the automotive sector (INTERREG).
Her current research interests are Service Engineering and Product-Service System. In these areas she is also strongly collaborating with the Tokyo Metropolitan University. From 2011 to 2015 she has coordinated the ProSSaliC (Product-service System along Lifecycle) project financed European Project - IRSES - EC Marie Currie action. In 2012, she also won a Research Grant from ABB about the Engineering and Assessing Condition Based Maintenance Product-Service Solutions. From 2015 she is principal investigator of the EU funded Diversity project (www.diversity-project.eu).
She is also interested in the Cooperation Development with Developing countries at University level. In particular, since 2010, in this research area she is investigating the Engineering Education field in collaboration with the University of Botswana, where she was also visiting researcher. She is also member of the Scientific committee of the UNESCO Chair in Bergamo (Italy).
She is author of more than 20 refereed international and national journal and conference papers.
