He obtained his BSc and MEng degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering from University of San Carlos in 1997 and 2004 respectively. In 2006, he went to Mie University in Japan to pursue his research interest in the field of e-learning, active camera control, image processing and fuzzy control. Having such interests, he is concerned about research that develops novel learning techniques using camera control, image processing, analysis of subject behaviour (e.g. teacher, students) and web applications related to learning. He taught undergraduate EE/ECE subjects in USC, Cebu City, Philippines from 2000-2006 and 2010-2012. Now, he works as System Support Administrator at London Business School's Executive Education but still promotes Mendeley to his former colleagues and other university contacts in the Philippines and Japan.
