Gonzalo Bacigalupe, EdD, MPH, associate professor and director of the Family Therapy Program, Department of Counseling Psychology, Graduate College of Education, at the University of Massachusetts Boston; adjunct professor with the Master Psychotherapeutic Intervention at the National University at Distance in Spain (UNED). His research includes transnational families and couples, political and family violence, refugees and immigrants’ health and health disparities (chronic pain, medication strategies and literacy, asthma), e-learning, and is venturing in the e-health arena. He has been Senior Fulbright Research Fellow, an APF grantee, and has been recently selected as Ikerbasque Research Professor to initiate family health, immigrant, and technology research in the Basque Country at University of Deusto. Dr. Bacigalupe is Associate Editor of Family Systems & Health and member of the editorial boards of the Journal of Marital & Family Therapy, and Qualitative Research in Psychology.
