I am a postdoctoral researcher working mainly in the areas of community ecology, macroecology, and vegetation science. My post-graduate research degrees at the University of Adelaide were on the morphology and systematics of fossil and living plants (Casuarinaceae, Lamiaceae). Since 2010, my main research focus has been on informing conservation policy by: 1) determining the influence of climate on vegetation composition and function and; 2) identifying and modelling regional biodiversity, including development of software for mapping biodiversity metrics from point-based species inventory data.
