Gregorio Robles is Associate Professor at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid, Spain. He earned a degree on electrical engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (studying his last year and submitting his master thesis at the Technical University of Berlin) and obtained his PhD in 2006. His research work is centered a) in the study of libre software development from an engineering point of view and b) in new ways of introducing technology enhanced learning (e-learning and m-learning). He has been involved in the FLOSS study on libre software financed by the European Commission IST programme and in other European-funded projects such as CALIBRE, FLOSSMetrics, QUALOSS, QualiPSo, FLOSSWorld and the eMadrid technology enhanced learning network. He has also had the opportunity of attend following universities as a research visitor: Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien (AT), MERIT/University of Maastricht (NL), the University of Lincoln (UK), the Technische Universität München (DE) and the University of Trier (DE).
