Evolution of Behavior.Genetic basis of behaviorAlternative strategies

Born in Barcelona in 1985, I moved back an forth over the Atlantic a few times as a child and teenager. After 3 and a half years of uninspiring undergraduate studies in Biology I played around with the idea of quiting. Eventually I only took a brief break and went back to finishing my degree by doing an internship at the "Bioevo" unit at UPF helping out with "the Genographic project". After graduating I stayed around the lab for a while as an assistant. I then went on to work on lizard behavior as the topic of my master's thesis and eventually found my way to Emory University where I have joined my interest in animal behavior with my educational background in genetics. With a tad of luck I should get a PhD out of it... When not in the lab I enjoy "the freedom of the hills"!
