I am a researcher at the University of Deusto. In 2010 graduated cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University, working in a mindfulness meditation lab. In 2011, I obtained a research assistant position at the Department of Social Behavioral Health. I worked two years as a principal coder in a large dual-site project examining diagnostic and appraisal delay in colorectal cancer. I currently have three manuscripts under review, and numerous abstracts awaiting publication related to rheumatoid arthritis in Colombia and one meta analysis in breast cancer lymphocyte responses to stress management intervention. My dissertation proposal includes a multisite mixed methods study of interrelationships between caregivers, families, and pediatric patients. I also have qualitative study currently ongoing in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
