Harold Johnson leads Hardwoods of Nashville, a Tennessee-based company that provides high-quality flooring solutions to a diversity of clients, as owner and general manager. Its products include wood options ranging from domestics like red oak and walnut to exotics like tigerwood and Brazilian cherry. Before establishing the Nashville business, Harold Johnson completed training through the National Wood Flooring Association Flooring Inspection School, where he took courses in wood basics and moisture identification.
Mr. Johnson's background in the flooring industry also includes a period as sales manager with Designer Floors. In that role, he oversaw the sales department, through which he attracted new customers. His day-to-day responsibilities included conducting weekly meetings with local business leaders as well as motivating and mentoring 30 sales professionals.
When not working, Mr. Johnson enjoys snow skiing in Colorado and fishing near the Old Hickory Lock and Dam on the Cumberland River. Further, he has traveled internationally to places like Australia, where he surfed and scuba-dived, and Germany, where he especially appreciated the local cuisine.
