      About

      Heather J. Chin is a multimedia journalist who researches and writes on topics of children’s and women’s health, food, nutrition, education, travel, sustainability and hunger-related issues. Her work has appeared in The Philadelphia Inquirer, Parenting, NY City News Service, New York Press and West Valley Health and Living. She has also edited educational storybooks on 3rd to 6th grade math, science and history. In her free time, she writes short stories and volunteers with the Kiwanis New York City Young Professionals club, which mentors local high school and college students.
