About

I hold a joint appointment between the Department of Geosciences and the Mallinson Institute for Science Education. My main research interests are in postsecondary geoscience education, specifically looking at how cognitive factors develop during geologic fieldwork and the role of fieldwork in workforce preparation. I am actively involved in K-12 science teacher preparation and professional development.
