My research focuses on river mechanics and sediment movement/transport; physical modelling; flow
structure and ecohydraulics; and hydraulic structures. Current projects strive to provide application of
innovative analysis methodologies developed for turbulence studies into sediment transport research. In
addition to mobile-boundary research, I am actively collaborating and setting up new projects in turbidity
current research. Recently, I am collaboratively developing and using advanced visualisation techniques.
