convection and surface processes in GCMsRadiation

About

My main interest is on radiation and convection and I try to understand and model cloud-climate-aerosol interactions. I am also interested on large scale water vapor transport . I work with physical parameterizations in climate models and the development of the Brazilian Model of the Global Climate System. I got my PhD in 2004 on experimental astrophysics for studying the propagation of Nitrogen fluorescence light in the atmosphere as a technique to measure cosmic rays.
