Investment professional Hilt Tatum IV has been founding companies since he was a student in college. Serving as the chief operating officer of that company, he helped it grow into a multinational business with hundreds of employees, eventually selling it in 2006 to pursue other entrepreneurial endeavors. That year, Tatum founded iPoint Capital Partners, which he currently directs as CEO.
In addition to operating iPoint Capital Partners, Hilt Tatum IV engages in philanthropic work and is pursuing a postgraduate degree at the University of Oxford’s Said Business School. He has otherwise pursued further education as a participant in the Masterclass in Private Equity at the London Business School, having initially prepared for his career at the University of Montana, Eckerd College, and the Institute for American Universities in Aix-en-Provence, France. Tatum’s philanthropic work has largely been with organizations such as the American Red Cross, Save the Children, and Children of Darien Panama, an organization that serves the country’s most remote region.
