About

Hugo Ferreira is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Coimbra, Portugal. He has an electrical engineering degree from the Porto Polytechnic Institute (ISEP-IPP).

Main scientific interests are: Autonomous Systems and Mobile Robotics. He works with marine robotics, underwater and surface vehicles, sonar and positioning systems.
Currently he is a researcher at the MRL-ISR (Mobile Robotics Lab), Polo II, and at the LSA-ISEP (Autonomous Systems Lab).

He is also an Assistant Professor at the Superior School of Industrial Studies and Management, Polytechnic Institute of Porto
