I'm originally from the UK and worked in the lab of Professor Paul Sharp at Nottingham University on my PhD project entitled "The evolution of codon usage in bacteria". I now work in Dresden at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology as the Bioinformatics Service Leader.
