    About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California, maintaining a private practice for North San Diego County, serving the communities of Escondido, Carlsbad, Oceanside, Vista, San Marcos, and Encinitas. My practice draws from a blend of existential, contemplative, and Jungian perspectives. I also offer concrete approaches through mindfulness-based and body-oriented therapies to help clients work with difficulties in the present moment. Dream-work and the expressive arts can also be incorporated into the healing process. I am currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program for Depth Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. My research interests include neurobiology and non-verbal therapeutic modalities (ie, sandplay, body-work, play and art therapy), post-partum depression, and the relationship between culture and mental illness.
