Research interests


I am a Post Doc at Clemson university in Clemson, SC, researching on continuum robotics. My interests are kinematic and dynamic analysis of true continuum structures via new mathematical models and approaches. I seek to address the limitations in previous models aiming to develop a generalized robust model for variable length continuum arms. Expected model will be able to provide enhanced insight into physical construction and fully simulate wide variety of continuum arm realizations. I graduated from the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka in Electronic and Telecommunication engineering in 2007 (B.Sc Hons: First class) and Unige-IIT (Ph.D in Robotics) in 2013.
