About

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Chemistry at the University of Nebraska in the research group of Dr. Robert Powers. My current work focuses on using NMR spectroscopy, high-throughput screening, molecular docking, and bioinformatics to functionally annotate proteins and identify new therapeutic targets for drug discovery. I plan on completing my dissertation work in the Fall of 2011. Prior to graduate school, I had worked for five years at MDS Pharma Services (now Celerion) in both the clinical and bioanalytical divisions.
