About

Since 2007 Jakob Schwendner has been working at the DFKI Robotics Innovation Center (RIC) in the areas of state estimation, robot autonomy and mobility, navigation as well as embedded systems design. He is currently heading the autonomy team at the RIC. Jakob Schwendner finished his MSc in Advanced Technologies in Electronics at the Bristol Robotics Lab, University of the West of England in 2006. In 2013 he received his PhD from the University of Bremen on the subject of embodied localisation and mapping.
