James D. Dvorak is Associate Professor of Greek and New Testament at Oklahoma Christian University. His research interests include the application of modern linguistics and SFL-based discourse analysis (esp. Appraisal Theory) to the analysis of ancient and biblical Greek grammar, translation theory, and New Testament interpretation; implementation of modern linguistics and discourse analysis as a hermeneutical/exegetical model; New Testament theology; and History of Interpretation. He is married and has two children.
