Dr. Jan Ondrus is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems at ESSEC Business School. He works in the Department of Information Systems, Decision Sciences and Statistics (IDS) since November 2007. His teaching covers IT/IS related and e-business courses in the Grande Ecole program (MSc in Management), Global MBA, Advanced Masters, and PhD programs. Additionally, he is the Research Director of the ESSEC Media & Entertainment Chair, sponsored by Société Générale, Orange, TF1, and Les Echos. His research interests include e-/m-business, mobile payments, digital platforms strategy & economics, technology forecasting, disruptive innovation management, and telecommunication policy. He currently serves as an Associate Editor of the Information Systems Journal (ISJ) and Electronic Commerce Research and Applications (ECRA). Jan has been visiting the University of Hawai’i, Sungkyunkwan University, Mannheim University, University of Lausanne, Case Western Reserve University, and Seoul National University.
