I did A-Levels at the Centre of Preparatory Studies, Shah Alam under the scholarship program of Public Services Department (1990-1992). Henceforth under the same program, I continued to do my first degree Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London, England (1992-1995). In my final year, I did a one term project on the “Dispersion of Contaminant in Fluid Flow” and obtained the Diploma in Imperial College the same year. On my return to Malaysia in September 1995, I joined Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) as a tutor in the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology. A year later, I pursued to Master of Science in Computation at the University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, England, under the UNIMAS Academic Training Scheme (1996-1997). I came back to Malaysia and served as a lecturer at UNIMAS for a year, teaching courses on mathematics and programming. Then, I proceeded to do PhD in Computational Mathematics, specialized in fluid dynamics, at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London, England under the scholarship offered by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (1998-2002). I am now back in UNIMAS and continue my research interest in mathematical modeling especially on dynamical systems.
