About

Javier Ferrer obtained his PhD in 2016. He had his 5-Year Combined Bachelor's and Master's Engineering Degree by the University of Malaga. He has also obtained his MSc in computer science (artificial intelligence) and his postgraduate certificate in education by the same university. His research interests are mainly related to metaheuristics optimization techniques. Specifically, he has several publications on the search based software engineering field. Overall, he has more than 20 publications including journal articles, conference papers, and book chapters. Currently his main research line is focused on the evolutionary testing domain.
