Urologic Surgeon specialising in minimally invasive surgery at the University Hospital Bordeaux, France. He studied for his MD at University Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France. After completion of his medical degree he pursued residency and Clinical Fellowship at the University of Bordeaux. Professor Bernhard is involved in international training and has collaborations with multiple institutes, including Hospital San Pau in Barcelona, Spain, The Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh, USA and The Norris Cancer Center – Institute of Urology in Los Angeles, USA. He is also affiliated with the Research Unit 1029 of the National Institute of Health and Medical Research (INSERM). He is the coordinator of the National databank and research network on Kidney Cancer (UroCCR), certified by the French National Institute of Cancer (INCa), a member of the Cancer Committee of the French Association of Urology (CCAFU) and an associate member of the EAU Section of Oncological Urology (ESOU).
