About

Jean-Philippe Vandeborre received the M.Sc. degree in 1997 and the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2002, both from University Lille1, France. He also holds the "Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches" (HDR) from University Lille1. Currently, he is a Full Professor of Computer Science in Institut Mines-Telecom/Telecom Lille. He is also a member of the Computer Science Laboratory in the University Lille 1 (LIFL UMR CNRS 8022). His research interests are mainly focused on three-dimensional model analysis and processing, and include indexing and retrieval from content, 3D-mesh segmentation methods, and 3D modeling by example. He is co-author of several papers in refereed journals and proceedings of international conferences. He has been involved in French and European projects and has served as program committee member and reviewer for international journals and conferences.
