Jeanette Beebe is a writer, filmmaker, researcher, and journalist. She has worked for the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association, the Institute for Humane Studies, the Fund for American Studies, the Missionaries and Ministers Benefit Board, and AIG Global Real Estate. She's taken journalism courses in feature writing (with Julia I. Keller, Chicago Tribune), television news production (with Lisa Cohen, ABC News), and radio reporting (with Steven Drummond, NPR).
In June 2014, Jeanette graduated from Princeton University, where she majored in English and earned certificates in Creative Writing and Gender + Sexuality Studies.
At age 15, Jeanette founded Moving ForWords Productions, a publishing press, theatre production company, and spoken word organization that advocated for the freedom of gender expression through the arts. She directed Moving ForWords Productions from Princeton, NJ and Des Moines, IA from 2003 - 2011.
